There is no doubt that I have always spoken about the importance of being able to maximise the number of income streams in your business. After all, whilst it's nice to suggest that we can all actually manage to just work on one avenue of reveneue, it is important to note that times and tastes change, as does demand for various products. I know that you may have a really special product that is a constant seller, and I wish that for you of course. However, try this for your consideration:

The Product Pipeline Funnel

The idea here is that it is often easier to get a client on a 'starter product' where they enter a relatively low price point, so that it is a no brainer. In other words, many people wil nt hesitate overly of you are selling them a product or report for $7, or maybe even $17 or $27. Now, if we try to look at this another way, when the quality of the above products are just so high, you may well find that it is a much easier 'sell' to actually upgrade ther client to a higher product prioce point. After all, they now 'know' you and your product a little better, and will have a greater trust in what you have to offer. This makes sense and is also part of a multi product layer.

Another way to look at this is that not everyone is going to be a perfect fit for your entry product. However, by having a number of products, you are able to better cover your customer base. This is a very similar concept to major retail chain stores. They don't just sell one product- they sell thousands of products, across many lines and genres. 

Now, as a small or self run busines, you may not have thousands of products, but the concept is very much the same. You just need to make sure that you are able to cover a rabnge of products that is more than one, and gradually increase your product offering.

I have often talked about affiliate sales at first, just to get started, but it is a good idea to develop your own products too. This way, you will have a much greater degree of control and income fulfilment. The reason for this is that you will not have a case where the merchant suddenly pulls the product or changes the rules. That can happen with affiliate products when you are not in charge of the products.

We can all create our list and have a great result. We just need to understand the best way to go about it and do so in an organised and planned way…

You see, whilst some people are happy to add just about anyone to their list,  just so they can say they have xxx number of people, I say no- I'd rather have a 'quality' group of people, who are interested in what I have!  I think most people would agree this is a better way to go, in that I am then catering to a demand, rather than just a large number. Affiliate marketing has been around for a long time, and I am a big fan of the medium, and particularly, for beginners, bet certainly for seasoned veterans as well. My reasoniong for this is that it allows you to get started relatively quickly, even if you do not have your own, hosted website, even though I strongly recommend you set that up, through HostingSuccess and Hostgator. The reason I say this, is that you have full control and can not be told that your site will be pulled off line of the terms of service change. (You will still need to pay for the hosting).

However, getting back to the main title of this very article, I am talking about the ways you can make your affiliate offers more enticing to your audience, as opposed to your competitors. Some of you may be thinking, however, if the affiliate products is the same, what can we do to differentiate it?

That's a great question, and the answer is to make sure that you offer a great and different bonus product. Affiliate Bonus Systems are explained in more detail over here, buit as a summary, the idea is to make sure that you have a package, a report, or even a course that you have created yourself and offer that as a bonus. Now, I realise some of you may have even more questions about this. Are your courses not available as items to be sold and profited from?

The answer is yes, but you need to lok at this in the following way…

When you are creating products yourself, on a regular basis, this may be a little easier for you, but as an alternative, you may use a good quality Private Lable Rights Product instead. The idea is to ask your buyer to buy through your link, and to then suggest, as part of your sales copy, that they email you their purchase recveipt and you will email them back a link to their bonus product. This way, you may have a little more work to do, but will actually end up better off given the increased sales you will receive. 

Even though it requires effort, I highly recommend you invest this time as you will always have the products that you can sell separately as well as give away as a bonus. The more of these products you can give away as bonus, the greater your sales. UI have seen a number of cases wjhere the bonuses were worth more than the original courses or products as affilate sales that werebeing made, and were harder to turn down, as a purchaser. It is no secret to many of my readers that I am in favour of the affiliate model. The main reason is that you can start with vurtually nothing and still make a quid if you are rpepared to work hard. Yes, I am sorry but you really do need to do something for this to work.

There are many ways you can approach this, but at least, you are not required to start with a blank product to create yourself. This is a very powerful argument for affiliate marketing, but as a side issue, I also recommend creating your products in time as well, so that you have a much greater control. How Can I Start My Affiliate Marketing Process?

This is a great question,. There are numerous methods to achieve this result, but for a start, I recommend some of the following ideas:

• You may create a review site where you provide a detailed review of the product. This should list your good and not so good experiences. Just saying that everything was perfect will tend to seem a little suspect. Be truthful. Even if something is not the best, if the overall impression is that the product does what it is meant to, you will still achieve sales.
• You can also provide a brief overview of comparison products and thus, create an informed analysis of different but similar products.
• I also recommend that you write regular blog posts and articles where you refer to the product in question, as well as in time, creating your oiwn website. Before you set up your site, if funds are limited, you can also use free services like blogger.com as well as wordpress. However, I recommedn using your own hosting if you can afford it, as you will have a much greater control over your site and also the content and themes.

Finally, the other piece to the puzzle is making sure you are always learninga nd applying the latest techniques. Either way, which ever way you chosoe to go, you need to make the bonus good so that your client will come and buy through you. Firstly, I suggest you start out as an affiliate marketer and choose a niche that is both hot as well as one that has many products that you are familiar with. An example might be in a niche like weight loss. However, you may well be asking questions along the lines of what you can do to work this niche well?

I recommend choosing very carefully when it comes to keywords for your niche, as you want them to be specific. I know that many people fall for the idea that if they are very general, they will receive more visitors. However, this is not about visitors. It is about quality score and getting people to your page who want to read what you have to say. This is very important indeed and something I highly recommend you take on board. In other words, it is better for me to have someone who is interested in what I have to say and stays oin my page for longer and absorbs the information.

Put another way, someone who is interested in whart I have to say, and found my opage becasue they were looking for just that is going to be more happy. 

So, as part of creating many ways for your customers to find you and also to stay with you, I highly recommedn marketing approaches based on quality.

I can give examples like using a good capture form to capture their name and email. For example, on this very websitem there is a form on the top right to capture a name and email if someone is interested in learning about video recording.

Thsi is a benefit to many marketers and thus, I include the option on this site.
